My name is Lars Bo Kujahn.

I work with music from Turkey, arabian countries as well as Balkan and worldfusion in general. My main instrument is the arabian "Qanoon" (arabian piano) - and beside I play "Oriental Percussion" ; tabla/darbuka(arabian turkish drum) and all kinds of frame drums from Middle East/Asia. Finally I play drums and guitar as well..

My work with music from the Middle East have brought me around the world - played with my ensemble Oriental Mood, and made workshops from Borneo to Egypt and Middle East - to nearly all Europe and USA.

As a composer I write for my ensemble "Oriental Mood" and the

percussion group "World of Drums".

I make seminars, workshops, lectures about music from Middle East and Turkey and Balkan. Every summer I teach at Vestjyllands Hoejskole one week with the theme "Oriental Mix". Beside that I teach regulary at Rhythmic Center in Copenhagen, Klaverfabrikken in Hilleroed I make weekend and one day workshops in Denmark and the rest of our beautiful world. In 1998 and 2004 I was the leader and coordinator for the workshop "East in West" at the

Rhythmic Music Consevatory in Copenhagen.

2008-09 I was project leader at "Førde Festival" in norway : "Talent 2008".

As a music consultant I have been resposible for the musicprogramme of the Images of the Middle East 2006 in Denmark.

My band www.oriental-mood.dk participated as well with the great singer Fatma Zidan from Cairo.

Finally I work as a studio musician in all kinds of music from dance, hiphop, pop to classic and world.
